Kinder Camp is an 8-week summer program that Fusion Schools offers based on the needs of our customers and the community. If there are a number of students at one or more of our schools who are going to Kindergarten in the fall, and have had less than 10 months of curriculum/”title=”Fusion Preschool Academy” >preschool, Kinder Camp will be available to give them an extra boost before entrance into Kindergarten. The curriculum focuses on the core skill sets that are absolutely necessary to be successful in Kindergarten. Please note that if your child has been attending a Fusion School for a year or more, Kinder Camp will most likely not be necessary. Parents will receive confirmation of this when assessments are completed in the spring. If your child is not enrolled in a Fusion School but you would like to take advantage of Kinder Camp please contact us for more information on locations, pricing and availability.
The following is an example of what your child would experience throughout the 8 weeks of Kinder Camp:
- Week 1: All About Me (name writing, self-help skills, self-control)
- Week 2: Letters & Letter Sounds (part 1)
- Week 3: Numbers, Counting & Shapes (part 1)
- Week 4: Fine Motor Skills
- Week 5: Reading/Listening Comprehension
- Week 6: Letters & Letter Sounds (part 2)
- Week 7: Numbers, Counting & Shapes (part 2)
