Don't look now but the winds are changing. The weather is starting to cool off and the rain is rolling in. But don't run inside just yet. Use these cooler days to spend some extra quality time with your Littles out in nature. Head out to a park or even your backyard for a little family picnic. Take a few finger foods and maybe even some tactile food, like pudding, on a plate. Our family favorite is tapioca pudding because of the texture. Smoosh it around, make a mess and enjoy the fresh air. When you're done why not take a little nature hike? Even in your own backyard. The Littles will love the interactive quality time with mom and dad.

This week your Littles have learned all about decomposition and the microbes that cause it. Maybe take this opportunity to find something that's decomposing and have them teach you. There is nothing your Littles love more than being able to share the education that's right at their fingertips. If you have the time, you can even do a science experiment of your own at home with them using whatever type of fruit or vegetable you have at your fingertips.

As always, feel free to take pictures of your adventures and share them. We love to see how all of our Littles are growing in their own environment. Here is to messy fingers, quality time and they changing of seasons!
