During the month of March, students in Marysville, Yuba City and Olivehurst are learning all about the different biomes found on the planet Earth. They will also be studying the plants and animals in each of these biomes. On Friday April 6th we will be taking all of our Fusion Kids to experience the animals of the wild at the Sacramento Zoo. This is an amazing opportunity for our students to see the real thing and to spend the day with the animals we have read about in our books! The start of a new thematic unit is always exciting, but it is especially exciting when we are given the opportunity to learn about and investigate animals and their habitats around the world! That is exactly what we will be doing throughout the month of March. Each week will be dedicated to a particular biome and each classroom will be dedicated to learning about different aspects of that biome.
